I am under a vicious computer attack that I'm not sure my laptop can survive. Some sort of malicious malware is wreaking havoc on my system making it impossible to open various applications such as skype, tweetdeck, my antivirus program, etc. The only thing I don't have trouble viewing is porn, which has bombarded me for my viewing displeasure. I was contemplating getting a new computer, anyway, but I wanted it to be on my terms, not on some hacking site's whim. Que sera sera, I suppose.
Other than the thief in the night that took over my Internet fun, things are going well, if you don't count my den looking like a Goodwill holding station since Kristi moved back from her college dorm for the summer. The sister and in-laws have gone on their merry way after bestowing a nice visit and congratulatory blessings on Kayla for her college graduation. Now, it's down to Shea visiting from his army post in North Carolina, and Kristi's french beau, Mathieu. Have I mentioned him? That's a whole 'nother story. I also have Kayla staying over so that I can nurse her back to health following her wisdom teeth removal yesterday. Next week, it's her lasik surgery. So much for kickin' back around here. Oh, and Dustin, the keeper of the castle while I'm in Doha, is enjoying the residual effect of a stocked refrigerator while I'm visiting. In other words, the kids are happy, so I'm alright!
What can I say to all of that. Your computer...that is the pitts...buy a new one and move on... you have work to do! Poor Kayla...are you getting her all fixed up for her work life with no vacation or sick time yet? Take care of your little baby girl...she deserves it! And we must have more information on Kristi's French Friend! By the way...when are you spending some time in Mid-County? Anytime soon? Doesn't sound like it. :) June...July?
ReplyDeleteI'm going this weekend, but it's going to be a very quick turnaround. Getting there Friday, leaving on Saturday. I'm not sure when my "official" Port Arthur visit is...just taking it one day at a time over here. I'll give you a heads up when I figure it out, but I WILL see you for sure!
ReplyDeleteMac it up girl!
ReplyDeleteMy girls want me to Mac it Gina, but I'm not so sure about teaching this old dog new tricks! We'll see.
