The taxi just picked David up 15 minutes ago for his trip to the airport (5:00a.m. Doha time). He'll be arriving in San Antonio, Tx around 11:30p.m. Texas time. I'll leave you with a Josh Groban song that I love.
"You Raise Me Up"
When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary;
When troubles come and my heart burdened be;
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.
You raise me up... To more than I can be.
That is one fine song. And I'm very proud to have David as a brother-in-law. He's a really good guy. Not many people would give up 3 weeks vacation let alone give of themselves to help someone else out. My prayers are with him.
