Our five year adventure in Doha, Qatarended June 1, 2012, but the memories will always remain. It's back to Texas where I have decided...Qatar isn't cornering the market on "quirky", as I once believed. Thanks for opening my eyes to the world,Doha!

The Beach is That Away >>>>>>
Woke up to pouring rain! We're just in from breakfast and now the sun is shining. Off to the beach. Check ya later!
Hey Sybil, I know you don't like heights but be adventurous and try a bungy jump in Phuket. It's only 165 ft and you get a great view of the lush green jungles. Imagine what photos you could get! By the way, I love this blog and look forward to reading it as often as I can. Makes believe I'm somewhere else besides my cubicle for just a little while.
Lucy, I think the most adventurous thing I will do is climb aboard the baby elephant that walks daily through the resort!! Bungy jumping is definitely out of the question!!!
