Our five year adventure in Doha, Qatar ended June 1, 2012, but the memories will always remain. It's back to Texas where I have decided...Qatar isn't cornering the market on "quirky", as I once believed. Thanks for opening my eyes to the world, Doha!

France Overview in Pics

The last of my French posts...I promise! Click on the pic for a pretty good cross section of our trip through the Normandy Area, Mont St Michel, the walled city of Carcassonne, The Loire Valley and a few other stops along the way. Take a peak at France or you can wait for the trials and tribulations of our quirky lives in Doha to continue in future posts. Later!

  1. Great pictures. Looks like you both had a great trip and were blessed with good weather. I really enjoyed the pics of Normandy. Sadly, most people will never understand or appreciate the tremendous sacrifices that were made on that day. Thanks for sharing......

  2. I knew you would appreciate those. I snapped a pic of a headstone with the name "Joe Mercer" on it at Normandy American Cemetery...just in case you were somehow related. Sending it your way.
