Birthday Greetings!

Happy "8th" Birthday Myah Kathleen Owens!

Our sweet great niece, Myah, is turning eight years old today in Greensboro, North Carolina. It's hard to believe we're getting so old. David's sister, Sherry, is a grandmother five times over. We're waiting patiently. Note the patiently, we want college graduates, then wives and husbands, and then the grandchildren!. Dustin, Uncle David and I celebrated Myah's birthday at Ric's Country Kitchen this morning with breakfast. There's no better way in Doha to get your morning started. Hash browns and eggs being slung everywhere...a true greasy spoon in action. Although, every time we're there in the back of my mind I'm practicing my duck & cover that we learned in my elementary days. It is a very safe country, but as with everything, we do need to be vigilant. Ric's is a very popular Western hangout and they do tout on their signs the great American food that they offer. Rumor has it that the base here doesn't like the guys on passes to go there. Now, keep in mind that is a rumor, and there's not a whole lot over here to entertain people's minds. Anyway, breakfast was great and now we're heading down to the pool to celebrate your birthday, Myah! Lol...have a great one!
