I received a few pics from Shea that I thought I'd share. These scenes are not quite what I remember from the Robert Redford, Meryl Streep movie, but they are from the roadsides in Shea's neck of the woods. Ok, so I never actually saw Out of Africa , but I do remember it being known for its beautiful scenery.
It looks like this could be a photographer's mecca, but Shea always forgets to take his camera when he leaves his hut. Why, son? It probably fits in your pocket! Newsflash, his hut has actually been updated to a big new villa with standard chandeliers like we have in Doha. He's movin' on up!
Pretty soon our grass in Houston will look like Africa's, none! Look's like they don't get too much rain either.
