tting on an extravaganza. The Sony Ericsson Championship trophy was lowered into the stadium via crane and tennis playing acrobats. It was a site to behold. I was trying to get still pics and video out of one machine and tha
t can get a bit tricky. After the trophy was put on its pedestal and then presented to Serena, the Qatar Tennis Federation put on a show to celebrate their 25 year presence in Doha. It was a befitting end to a great tournament. I'm already looking forward to the men's tournament headed this way in January.

ReplyDeleteI might have to make it to one of those tournaments one year. You would think that Serena would have let her sister have this one since she has already one! I guess she didn't want to let go of her number one spot.
