I'm so ready to take the word "adventures" out of this blog title. Adventureless is the action I'm looking for right now. Since the kids headed out, I'm just about too pooped to pop. There is a huge trail that the kids have left behind upstairs, dishes still in the sink, laundry stacked three feet high, and Christmas decor still everywhere. But here I sit in my huge oversized sweats compliments of the US Army (Thanks, Shea!), sipping on my third round of caffeine hoping that I don't have to get off the couch for anything today. Well, not until it's time for dinner anyway. My relaxation process began yesterday at The Ritz for tea time with a gathering of pink ladies. Then it was home to put an overload of layers on (62F!) to go watch the next round of play at the Qatar Open. As predicted, Federer, Nadal, Murray, and our American, Andy Roddick won their matches easily. We're skipping tonight's matches and having a quiet dinner with friends instead. Ok, so those that know me know it really won't be quiet, but it will be a nice slow pace. I have to rest up for our next adventure that is scheduled for March. David and I will be meeting the kids at an undetermined Asian beach destination for their spring break. We're not sure where that is yet, but when it pops up when I Google the buzz words "relaxing, exotic, resort, with no worries", we're booking it. I'm open for suggestions...send them on!
Breakfast anyone ?

Where's the music?
ReplyDeleteIt came up when I refreshed it. Love the song.
ReplyDeleteOMG! Girls is right! ;-) I bet they can hear you saying that all the way back in the states! Looks like they had a great time...sure bet you miss them!
ReplyDeleteI guess girls will be girls. Mine are the same way, if not worse! How about the Maldives for your spring break trip. Good scuba diving, snorkeling and relaxing. If you want to go a little further with more adventure, the kids will love the Gold Coast, Australia, surfer's paradise. Enjoyed both of those places and can't wait to take my kids.
