Our five year adventure in Doha, Qatar ended June 1, 2012, but the memories will always remain. It's back to Texas where I have decided...Qatar isn't cornering the market on "quirky", as I once believed. Thanks for opening my eyes to the world, Doha!

Come on Over!

I don't know if you've heard, but my sister, Regina (aka Minnie Pearl, sorry sis, I had no other pic of you!), is coming to visit me for my big five-oh(oooh) birthday. Come to think of it, she hasn't even heard that news. I decided that I might need a little extra help celebrating and since she's already a senior citizen that's been there and done that, I figured she would be just the right person. Relax, Susie Q, just messing with you. You're not quite an AARP member yet, but if you listen closely I bet you can hear them knocking at your door. So, before they do it's high time you come over to this side of the world and pay me a visit. Here's your itinerary...

I figured I'd just have to do you like we have to do mom, just tell you what's up. So, pack your bags, November 1st is just two weeks away!

  1. Wow, what a way to start my day. Trying to give me a heart attack!!lol Yeah, sometimes I am like mom. Have to be shoved. But you aren't far behind me on that! And by the way, I will give you your first AARP membership for your birthday. You will be old enough!

  3. Regina...I think you handled that quite well, despite the heart attack. Kayla called this morning concerned if we could stand each other for that long...ha!

Fran...I didn't need your confirmation on that age thing. OMG, we aregetting old. I guess it was inevitable.
