Kristi's biggest Qatari Adventure, thus far, will be taking place this evening at The American School of Doha. Our baby girl is taking her first steps into the real world tonight. It's a bitter sweet time for us, as our lives here will be a bit emptier. We are so thankful that she joined us here in Doha to complete her senior year, but also that she had the yearning to learn about the world and the different cultures surrounding her. Kristi now has friends from all backgrounds and walks of life...Albanians, Canadians, Lebanese, Egyptians, British, and the occasional American Yankee, just to name a few. These friends, precious memories and experiences will be held close to her heart as she walks down the aisle to accept her diploma. We are very proud of her hard work and perseverance. It wasn't always easy for her or us, but as the saying goes, nothing good in life comes easy. Move over world, here she comes. Congratulations, Kristi...we love you!

Congratulations Kristi!!! I'm so proud of you. I'm also sad. All my nieces and nephews have grown up. That means I'm getting old!!
